Foresight Engineering, Inc. provides Civil Engineering and Land Surveying services to different business sectors, including public and private entities. Types of projects involve commercial, residential, industrial and airport improvements.
Foresight Engineering, Inc. maintains progressive aptitude towards new methods, acquiring the most up-to-date survey equipment and computer technology. Our staff is encouraged to pursue continued education in all aspects of civil engineering and land surveying.
Design & Construction Support Services from A to Z!
Starting with Land Surveying Services, our survey crew performs field surveys which provide the data necessary to build a digital terrain model (DTM) of the existing topography and a detailed site plan as necessary for the design step.
This is followed by Planning and Design Services performed by our professional engineers and designers, utilizing the survey DTMs and other information picked up in the field.
Once designs are finalized and plans are approved by the public agency, our survey crew provides Construction Staking Services to enable contractors to make these designs a reality!
Storm Water Quality Management Services
Every construction project in California is subject to the State's Water Board Regulations and design standards. To protect storm water quality, temporary measures are required during construction and permanent measures are required as part of the project design. We have Qualified SWPPP Developers (QSDs) on staff trained to comply with State requirements and best management control measures (BMPs). Our professional engineers are proficient in preparation of Low Impact Development (LID) plans and Water Quality Management Plans (WQMPs) which ensures project design compliance with State, City and/or County regulations.
